Job Description
This pharma job as a Forecasting Analyst II within the US Commercialization Analytics team will allow you to play a critical role in shaping the commercial strategy of BMS. If you have experience in an analyst job, this position involves developing robust forecasting models, applying advanced analytics, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making across commercial, finance, and business teams.
This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, leverage healthcare datasets, and contribute to the strategic direction of BMS’s pharmaceutical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain forecasting models for sales, demand, and market trends.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to deliver actionable business insights.
- Perform statistical analyses, predictive modeling, and data mining.
- Partner with Commercial Data Analyst teams to optimize business processes and apply automation.
- Collaborate with Finance and Business stakeholders to align on KPIs and analytical frameworks.
- Collect real-world data from multiple sources to guide strategies.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for senior leadership.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy.
Experience and Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar analyst role, preferably in biopharma or pharma.
- Strong expertise in pharmaceutical forecasting, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Hands-on experience with US healthcare datasets (e.g., IQVIA/SHS, Patient Claims).
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization tools.
- Strong business acumen and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with senior management.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; VBA/Macros preferred.
