    Job Details:

    • Job Title: Competitive Intelligence Analyst
    • Location: Hyderabad, India

    Education:

    Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) in Life Sciences or Medicine.

    Experience:

    • Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, particularly within innovative pharma.
    • Proven expertise in Competitive Intelligence involving secondary data analysis of R&D assets such as pipeline drugs, technology platforms, and clinical trials.
    • Therapeutic area experience in Cardiovascular, Diabetes, Metabolism, or Immunology (Dermatology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology) preferred.
    • Familiarity with novel therapeutic classes, including engineered biologics, is desirable.

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong teamwork, analytical skills, and learning agility.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities across global teams.
    • Strategic thinking and stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment.

    Technical Skills:

    • In-depth understanding of drug development processes and therapeutic modalities.
    • Knowledge of disease mechanisms in Cardiovascular, Metabolic, and Immunological disorders.
    • Proficiency in pharma CI databases like Citeline, Cortellis, and Evaluate.
    • Ability to synthesize scientific data into impactful insights and presentations.
    • Strong project management capabilities to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

    Language:

    Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Use diverse CI sources to provide accurate and comprehensive views of competitors’ activities relevant to Sanofi’s programs.
    • Collaborate with CI Leaders and Portfolio Strategy teams to articulate strategic implications for Sanofi, predict high-impact changes, and communicate key opportunities or threats to senior R&D leaders.
    • Prepare and deliver CI reports, including competitive landscapes, clinical data analyses, company profiles, and conference coverage.
    • Proactively monitor top competitors and share timely updates with stakeholders to support decision-making.
    • Partner with Therapeutic Area (TA) Scientific CI Leads and contribute to addressing critical competitive questions.
    • Work collaboratively with R&D Portfolio Analytics, Benchmarking, and Commercial CI teams to ensure data consistency and alignment.
    • Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new CI tools, particularly digital and AI-based solutions.
