Qualifications:
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Cosmetology, B.Sc./M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry, B.Pharm, or M.Pharm.
- Relevant experience in the personal care industry, particularly in skin and hair care.
About the Role:
HCL is looking for a Research and Development Executive with strong technical expertise in skin care and hair care product formulation. The ideal candidate will bring innovation, leadership, and scientific rigor to drive product development and breakthrough technology in the personal care industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end product formulation from brief to sign-off, including pilot batches and production scale-up.
- Develop robust, stable, and effective formulations for in-house and third-party manufacturing.
- Research and analyze formulations to support manufacturing operations, product, and process development.
- Manage new product development and improve existing formulations.
- Conduct compatibility testing, shelf-life studies, and regulatory compliance checks.
- Provide technical leadership in hair care and skin care formulations using surfactants, conditioning agents, and innovative raw materials.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, and safety regulations for cosmetics.
- Drive technology transfer, scale-up operations, and cost optimization through ingredient and process innovation.
- Bring scientific and technical innovation to the development of next-generation personal care products.
