Job Details

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Experience: Minimum 1–4 years of practical expertise in monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) downstream or upstream processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow good aseptic practices within biologics operations.
- Perform upstream activities including assembly, media preparation, vial thawing, feed preparation, filtration, bioreactor operations, and batch harvest.
- Monitor and control upstream processes and maintain quality records.
- Ensure traceability from raw materials to finished products.
- Conduct in-process product sampling and storage.
- Prepare and review operation-related documentation.
- Perform room and equipment ownership responsibilities in USP areas.
- Initiate complaint slips (work orders) and coordinate with QA for line clearance.
- Monitor LNS system, refill LN₂ tanks, and oversee gas bank operations.
- Maintain inspection readiness at all times.
- Prepare SOPs, protocols, risk assessments, and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
- Execute upstream activities and support equipment/instrument qualification.
- Track consumable stock and ensure preventive maintenance and calibration plans are followed.
- Report non-conformities and track timely closure of work orders.
- Support downstream activities under supervision.
Required Competencies:
- Adherence to Environment, Occupational Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) practices.
- Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Timely completion of training modules and adherence to training calendars.
- Strict compliance with SOPs, operational control procedures, and reporting structures.
- Timely reporting and closure of deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
- Participation in training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety and Data Integrity Responsibilities:
- Comply with EHSS, POSH, Data Integrity, and IT security policies.
- Use appropriate PPE and adhere to all lab/plant safety protocols.
- Report near-misses and potential incidents promptly.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and transparency in all work activities.
