Job Description:
Field Service Engineer provides technical and application services and support to Agilent customers. This includes resolving problems in a timely and cost-effective manner to enhance the customer experience and meet Agilent’s contractual obligations. Leverages post-sales interactions with customers to probe and qualify further revenue opportunities and provide highly qualified leads to sales. Performs a set of required admin tasks to ensure flawless customer service for contract and trade customers.
Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Engineer, your daily responsibilities will be
- Installations & Repairs at customer site.
- Provide technical & application support for Agilent instruments to existing and new customers.
- Deliver customer education courses on-site and at COE labs.
- Deploy application methods on Agilent instruments efficiently.
- Troubleshoot method/technology transfer issues promptly.
- Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions and customers.
- Deliver product seminars for customers, prospects, and employees.
- Training of internal and external teams and providing technical support.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and assist in resolving customer escalations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry /Instrumentation /Pharmacy/ Biotechnology/ Life Science or equivalent.
- Relevant basic/theoretical knowledge of analytical instruments like LC/LC-MS/QTOF, etc.
- Experience 18-24 months.
- A candidate should enjoy traveling and visiting customers.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, etc.
