- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in the pharmaceutical industry
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Oral Solid Dosage Forms (Tablets, Capsules, Ointments/Creams)
- Knowledge of cGMP, EHS, production systems, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in technology transfer, SUPAC guidelines, and ICH stability studies
- Hands-on skills in formulation development and commercial batch production
- Experience with operational excellence projects (Reformulation, Packaging reconfiguration, etc.)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and handling laboratory/pilot-scale equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in innovation projects and new vendor development
- Ability to identify cost-effective production solutions
- Workflow optimization experience
- Knowledge of SAP
About the Role:
Pfizer’s breakthroughs would not reach patients without its dedicated pharmaceutical manufacturing team. As an Executive – Formulation Development (FR&D), you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely access to life-saving medicines by contributing to formulation, technology transfer, and process optimization.
What You Will Achieve:
- Work within established procedures in a structured environment, with regular review for accuracy and technical judgment.
- Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) by adhering to site procedures.
- Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, safety, quality, and cost across processes and equipment.
- Develop metrics and action plans to meet customer and business needs while ensuring cGMP compliance.
- Apply project management skills to lead or participate in cross-functional teams.
- Supervise inspection, reconciliation, dispensing, and receivals of components.
