    A walk-in interview will be held on 15th October 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Unified Campus of Bose Institute, Block-EN, Plot No-80, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata – 700091, for one (01) temporary position of Senior Project Associate under the Intramural Project entitled “Structure-function analysis of chromosome segregation machinery.” The research will be conducted under the supervision of Prof. Kaustuv Sanyal, Department of Biological Sciences.

    Details of the Position:

    Position: Senior Project Associate

    Essential Qualification:

    • Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent, and
    • Four years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations, and Scientific activities and services.
      OR
      Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma / MD / MS from a recognized University or equivalent.
    • Upper Age Limit: 40 years
    • Monthly Emoluments: ₹42,000/- + HRA
      (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government rules.)

    Desirable Qualification:

    • Experience in yeast genetics, molecular biology, and cell biology.
    • Experience with handling mice as an animal model will be preferred.
    • Proven records of research experience are required.
