Junior Research Fellowship at VIT Vellore
Title of the Project:
Placental-Derived Biomaterials for Advancing Implant Acceptance and Tissue Regeneration
Qualifications:
Essential: First Class in Post-Graduate Degree, including an integrated PG Degree in M.Tech/M.Sc/M.Pharm.
Desirable: Candidates with demonstrated experience in biomaterials synthesis and characterization, 3D bioprinting, and tissue engineering are preferred. Proficiency in Immunomodulation, mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and preclinical animal studies will be an added advantage. Exposure to multidisciplinary research in biomedical applications is desirable.
Skills Required: Candidates with experience in biomaterials synthesis, 3D bioprinting, tissue engineering, Immunomodulation, cell culture, molecular biology, and preclinical animal studies.
Stipend:
Rs. 37,000/- + 9% HRA per month (for first two years), Rs. 42,000/- per month + 9% HRA (for the third year) for candidates with ICMR/DBT/CSIR JRF/Valid GATE score. The stipend for non-JRF/GATE qualified candidates will be paid in accordance with the Institute’s norms.
