Education:
MSc./M.Tech./M.Pharm. in Biological Sciences with 3–6 years of experience in Analytical R&D or QC in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Align with USP’s mission, goals, and objectives while complying with all guidelines and requirements.
- Demonstrate laboratory skills and hands-on expertise in Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC/nLC), Biochemical assays (SDS-PAGE, Western blot & IEF), and Enzymatic/Protein assays.
- Perform LOD & Water content experiments, plan and execute RS and Assay experiments.
- Analyze HPLC data using Empower, Open Labs CDS, or equivalent software.
- Execute Compendial and R&D projects, including proof-of-concept studies in biologics (proteins, enzymes, vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, peptides, antibiotics, raw materials, etc.).
- Plan, design, and troubleshoot analytical issues within project scope.
- Evaluate and analyze scientific reports to provide technical insights.
- Perform administrative responsibilities and ensure compliance with QMS systems and cGLP/cGMP standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional/global teams and contribute to internal and ISO audits.
- Recommend process improvements in laboratory and project management workflows.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience in method development, validation, technology transfer, and analytical characterization of biomolecules.
- Strong knowledge of Ion Chromatography, SEC-MALS, Circular Dichroism, or Capillary Electrophoresis.
- Understanding of reference standards development and biopharmaceutical product analysis.
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN) and familiarity with global quality systems.
