Job Details:

Role-specific:
- Follow good aseptic behavior inside biologics operations facilities.
- Perform all upstream activities such as assembly preparation, media preparation, vial thaw, feed preparation and filtration, bioreactor operations, and batch harvest.
- Monitor and control upstream process operations.
- Maintain quality records ensuring traceability from raw materials to finished products.
- Handle in-process sampling, storage, and documentation related to operations.
- Perform room owner responsibilities for the assigned USP area.
- Manage equipment/instrument ownership, initiate complaint slips, and coordinate with QA for line clearance.
- Monitor LN2 systems, gas banks, and ensure readiness for inspections and audits.
- Prepare procedures, protocols, risk assessments, and BMRs related to upstream activities.
- Execute protocols for equipment qualification and upstream activities.
- Maintain consumable stock records and ensure PM and calibration planners are followed.
- Report nonconformities and support downstream activities under supervision.
Education:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Industry Experience:
- Minimum 1–4 years of practical experience in mAbs downstream processes.
Other Competencies Required:
- Adherence to Environment, Occupational Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) standards.
- Completion of mandatory training on data integrity, GMP, and safety protocols.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Ability to follow SOPs, report deviations, and support CAPA activities.
- Compliance with company procedures related to data integrity, EHSS, POSH, and IT security.
- Awareness of safety protocols, PPE usage, and incident reporting.
Safety and Data Integrity Responsibilities:
- Always follow EHSS policies and wear the required PPEs.
- Ensure adherence to EHS standards for laboratory and plant safety.
- Identify and report near-misses and potential incidents proactively.
