Education:
D.Pharma/B.Pharma
Mandatory registration with the Pharmacy Council of India and the West Bengal Pharmacy Council
Experience:
0–8 years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check prescriptions of patients and dispense medication for both inpatient and outpatient pharmacies.
- Verify expiry dates of all medications before dispensing.
- Conduct stocktaking for near-expiry drugs and return them to vendors as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase and sale of medicines.
- Increase OTC drug sales and manage front-store operations.
- Maintain inventory, conduct stock checks, and manage replenishment cycles.
- Record all transactions accurately in the cash register.
- Handle patient queries related to medication and dosage.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory pharmacy laws.
- Build strong customer relationships to enhance sales.
- Maintain zero medication errors and ensure dispensing accuracy.
