Job Description
The IPQA Officer ensures that quality standards are consistently maintained during in-process manufacturing and packaging. The role involves real-time monitoring of production lines, verifying compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines, and implementing corrective actions when deviations occur. This role perfectly embodies what a QA job entails, focusing on maintaining quality and adherence to standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process quality checks during manufacturing and packaging.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and regulatory standards.
- Review and verify batch manufacturing and packing records.
- Identify non-conformances and implement CAPA (corrective and preventive actions).
- Conduct line clearance, sampling, and documentation as per SOPs.
- Coordinate with production, QC, and warehouse teams to maintain product quality.
- Maintain documentation for internal audits and regulatory inspections, a vital component of a QA job.
- Provide on-the-floor training to production staff on quality protocols.
Educational Qualification
B.Pharm/M.Pharm from a recognized institution
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of IPQA experience in cosmetics, skincare, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in documentation control, line clearance, and batch record review.
- Experience with cosmetics, skincare, or oral care QA protocols.
- Understanding of root cause analysis and CAPA management.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
