About the Project
This role is part of the ICMR Asteroids Project, a randomised, double-blind, multicentre study to evaluate the role of adjuvant steroids in severe scrub typhus pneumonitis.
The ICMR Asteroids Project is a prestigious, multi-centre clinical research initiative supported by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The project is focused on evaluating the role of adjuvant steroids in the management of severe scrub typhus pneumonitis as researched by Institute.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Screening study participants for eligibility at St. John’s Research Institute.
- Recruiting patients for the study.
- Assisting with obtaining informed consent.
- Ensuring delivery of intervention drug/placebo.
- Collecting data and entering information into the study database.
- Processing biological samples, including centrifugation and storage, as per the protocols of Institute.
Eduactional Qualification
Pharm D Graduates
Experience and Skills
- Prior research experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in English; familiarity with Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu is desirable.
- Prior experience in clinical or research projects is preferred, especially at recognized institutions.
