Job Description For QA Jobs at Sartorius
The Validation Services Laboratory Specialist will be part of the Confidence® Validation Services Team, focusing on planning, executing, and documenting customer-specific process validation studies for sterilizing-grade filters and other Sartorius products. This is an on-site role where your expertise in microbiological and physicochemical studies will support Sartorius’ Biopharma and pharmaceutical clients, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality in every process.
Key Responsibilities In QA Jobs
- Conduct microbiological and physicochemical testing on sterilizing-grade filters and Sartorius products per approved validation protocols.
- Execute viability, bacterial challenge, integrity, and chemical compatibility tests.
- Handle biological indicators, test solutions, and reagents following safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform in-coming material testing and maintain accurate laboratory data and documentation.
- Identify and report deviations, assist in investigations, and ensure validation compliance.
- Maintain and sanitize laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Oversee inventory control, calibration, and qualification of lab instruments.
- Review and revise validation protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualification & Skills:
- Academic or technical M.Sc Microbiology / M.Pharma
- 1-3 years of work experience in Biopharma/Biotech/Pharma/Filtration
- Hands on experience with the Digital applications like LIMS /ELN is a plus.
- Good understanding of GMP requirements
- Familiar with microbiological analysis testing and operating related equipment
- Self-sufficient, target oriented, well organized and self-motivated work style
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Experienced with project management and teamwork (ideally in a global environment)
- Team and customer service orientated attitude
- Proven software skills, e.g., Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English
