Job Description
Zydus Lifesciences Limited is seeking skilled and experienced professionals for its Vaccine Technology Centre in Ahmedabad. The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting vaccine development and manufacturing through analytical testing, formulation, and quality control activities. This M.Pharm job provides an excellent opportunity to work on viral and bacterial vaccine products, ensuring high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.This quality control job involves analytical testing, vaccine formulation, and compliance with cGMP and biosafety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control – Product Testing (Viral & Bacterial)
- Perform various biochemical, chromatography, electrophoresis, immunoassay, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques.
- Conduct stability studies and analytical method validation (AMV) for vaccine products.
- Operate the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and ensure timely sample analysis and data recording.
- Adhere to cGMP, GLP, and company quality assurance procedures.
2. Vaccine Manufacturing (Cell Culture)
- Prepare media and buffers for vaccine production.
- Participate in viral vaccine drug substance manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and maintain cell banks and virus banks.
- Carry out aseptic operations under biosafety conditions using laminar air flow or biosafety cabinets. This involves tasks from the walk-in interview stage to active responsibilities.
3. Formulation and Filling
- Prepare formulations as per BMR and approved SOPs.
- Handle critical equipment such as vessels, filtration units, vial washing machines, tunnels, and autoclaves.
- Maintain aseptic conditions during formulation and filling operations.
- Support process validation and batch documentation as per regulatory guidelines.
Educational Qualification
Postgraduate: M Pharm
Experience and Skills
- 2–8 years of hands-on experience in Biologics or Pharmaceutical industries (Officer/Executive level).
- Freshers are not eligible.
