About the institute
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar, is inviting applications under the Department of Evidence Synthesis (DOES) for the Health Technology Assessment in India (HTAIn) project funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The recruitment is purely contractual and project-based.
Job Description
AIIMS Deoghar is recruiting qualified pharmacy professionals for research positions under the HTAIn project. Selected candidates will contribute to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) research, scientific implementation, literature reviews, stakeholder coordination, project documentation, data analysis, workshops, and research publications.
Positions Details
1. Field Officer
- Vacancies: 1
- Salary: ₹25,000–₹30,000 per month
Qualifications
- Graduated in Science with 3 years of experience
- OR Master’s Degree
- OR Pharm D from a recognized institution

2. Field Investigator

- Salary: ₹30,000–₹32,000 per month

Important Instructions
- Ensure that you meet all the prescribed educational qualifications and experience requirements before submitting your application. If any information provided is found to be false or incorrect at any stage, your candidature will be cancelled, and legal action may be taken.
- Applicants must satisfy the prescribed age limit as of the last date of application submission. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be provided according to the Government of India (GoI) rules.
- All appointments are purely contractual and temporary for an initial period of 12 months. Based on project requirements and satisfactory performance, the contract may be extended for up to one additional year or until the project is completed, whichever comes first.
- This recruitment is for an externally funded project and does not guarantee permanent employment or regular appointment at AIIMS Deoghar.
- The performance of selected candidates will be reviewed every six months. Unsatisfactory performance may result in termination with one month’s notice or one month’s stipend instead of notice.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Any form of canvassing or influencing the selection process will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Private practice is strictly prohibited during the tenure of the project.
- Selected candidates may be posted at AIIMS Deoghar or any project site, including rural or field locations, depending on project requirements.
- Candidates are expected to follow the rules, regulations, discipline, and code of conduct applicable to AIIMS Deoghar employees.
- The decision of the competent authority regarding selection will be final and binding, and no correspondence or representation will be entertained.

- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview. Interview details will be communicated through email and/or published on the AIIMS Deoghar website. If required, the application deadline may be extended by the institute.
