For this Amneal Cell Biology Job, the candidate will contribute to discovery and translational research programs involving cell biology, molecular biology, therapeutic target validation, biomarker evaluation, and preclinical screening of advanced therapeutic platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in mammalian cell culture, molecular and cellular assays, gene/protein expression studies, mechanistic biology, and advanced in vitro models, along with the ability to independently design, execute, analyze, and interpret scientific experiments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in cell biology and molecular biology.
- Validate therapeutic targets and evaluate biomarkers.
- Perform preclinical screening of advanced therapeutic platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, analytical sciences, DMPK, and bioinformatics.
- Contribute to scientific publications, technical documentation, patents, and innovation-driven research programs.
Eligibility Criteria
- PhD/M.Tech/MSc/M.Pharm in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and a molecular biology lab.
- Experience with PCR/qPCR, DNA/RNA extraction, Western blotting, ELISA, fluorescence/confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, and cellular/biochemical in-vitro assays.In vitro and in cell viability, proliferation, apoptosis, autophagy, migration, uptake, and mechanistic biology studies.
- Exposure to peptide therapeutics, biologics/NBEs, nanotechnology, biomaterials, or drug delivery systems will be advantageous.
- Experience with 3D cell culture, spheroids/organoids, zebrafish/in vivo models, or translational biology will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced multidisciplinary R&D environment.
- Strong publication record and translational/industrial research exposure preferred.
- Good communication, mentoring, collaboration, and project management skills.
