    Job Description

    The Associate is responsible for managing device and pharmaceutical complaints and adverse events globally. Duties include triaging complaints, assessing reportability, escalating complex issues, submitting regulatory reports, coordinating with SMEs and specialists, and ensuring timely processing in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary customer contact for complaint registration and event data collection.
    • Manage the complete complaint lifecycle: registration, investigation, sample retrieval, and closure/reopening.
    • Gather additional information as required for thorough investigations.
    • Handle customer advocacy issues and escalate significant events to Specialist/Team Lead.
    • Provide accurate updates and guidance to customers during the complaint process.
    • Coordinate with SMEs and Team Leads for resolution of complaints and adverse events.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and Information Security Management Systems.
    • Maintain confidentiality and data security of company and customer information.

    Educational Qualification

    Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy

    Experience and Skills

    • 3–7 years of experience in a similar role; experience in a medical device organization is a plus.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical product usage.
    • Ability to write clear narratives and analyze complaint/adverse event data.
    • Experience in a healthcare, quality, compliance, or regulatory environment within an FDA-regulated business.
    • Strong telephonic and interpersonal skills with effective computer proficiency.
