    Job Description

    This role involves method development, method validation, method transfer, and R&D stability studies using laboratory instruments like Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Ultraviolet (UV) Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, and other analytical instruments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and validate assay and related substances methods for drug substances and drug products.
    • Perform analytical method development, validation, transfer, and stability studies.
    • Handle HPLC, UPLC (Empower-3 Software), GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, balances, potentiometers, and stability chambers.
    • Follow Good Documentation Practices (ALCOA+).
    • Perform calibration and qualification of HPLC, UPLC, GC, and other QC laboratory instruments.
    • Prepare and review raw data sheets, instrument operating procedures, and standard operating procedures.
    • Handle Quality Management Systems (QMS) including incidents, Out of Specification (OOS), deviations, and change control.
    • Manage procurement and inventory of pharmacopeial standards, chemicals, reagents, consumables, and laboratory spares.
    • Ensure compliance with GxP, safety guidelines, and internal SOPs.
    • Use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other essential software for routine activities.
    • Communicate effectively with overseas clients through emails and professional interactions.

    • Ensure adherence to Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) practices.
    • Complete mandatory data integrity and safety training.
    • Maintain compliance with Syngene’s quality standards.
    • Support safety goals and review safety metrics.

    Qualification

    • M. Pharm (Analytical chemistry/Chemistry)
    • Foundational experience in an analytical background

    Skills and Capabilities

    • Hands-on HPLC, UPLC/UHPLC, CG, UV-visible spectrophotometer, Potentiometer, and other QC analytical instruments
    • Theoretical knowledge in Chromatography and spectroscopy techniques
    • Good documentation/laboratory practices such as ALCOA+.
    • Able to follow work instructions and perform the tasks under the supervision of the Team leader
    • Preparation and Maintenance of all the documents
    • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
