Job Description
The Junior Chemist will support production and cleaning activities in accordance with production planning and established pharmaceutical procedures. This Pharma Job involves executing manufacturing operations, maintaining GMP compliance, handling SAP transactions, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring safe and efficient production processes within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute production processes as per approved written procedures (BPCR).
- Perform equipment and area cleaning activities according to GCR requirements.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Complete SAP transactions as per work instructions.
- Stage raw materials and packing materials to designated production areas.
- Report and document deviations observed during manufacturing activities.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and EHS guidelines.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in production areas.
- Coordinate with Engineering teams for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure safe disposal of spent materials and waste.
- Participate in training programs related to GMP, safety, and unit operations.
- Report abnormalities related to operations, safety, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmacy
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Required Skills
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Basic knowledge of production and cleaning processes.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
