The Associate Quality Assurance – MQA Downstream role serves as the primary contact of quality on the floor, handling Terminal Sterilization, Visual Inspection, and Packing areas. The position ensures compliance with cGMP standards, supporting both Pfizer careers and broader pharma careers growth.
Key Responsibilities At Pfizer Careers QA Department
- Ensure cGMP compliance in Terminal Sterilization, Visual Inspection, and Packaging operations.
- Maintain regulatory compliance aligned with Pfizer practices.
- Ensure manufacturing policies match Pfizer standards.
- Review eBR and assess AMPs exceptions with guidance.
- Review Batch reports and Equipment audit trails.
- Perform AQL sampling, VIDT inspection, and batch record review and release.
- Execute batch start-up and end activities including sensor challenge tests.
- Conduct random process checks in production.
- Perform daily walkthroughs and escalate observations.
- Assess equipment breakdowns regarding product quality and patient safety.
- Review equipment alarms and quarterly trends.
- Report non-compliance to senior team members.
- Support troubleshooting and process simplification to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
Qualifications Required For Pfizer Careers
- B. Pharm, M. Pharm, MSc.
- 2–6 years of experience in QA/MQA/Production in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems.
- Knowledge of cGMP and GxP.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
