Job Description
The Regional Medical Advisor serves as a field-based scientific expert responsible for executing the Medical Affairs Plan for pre-launch and newly launched products. The role shapes clinical practice through scientific engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs), policy makers, patient advocacy groups (PAGs), and other stakeholders, driving the safe and effective use of AstraZeneca medicines. Key Responsibilities
- Engage in clinical and scientific exchanges with medical and scientific experts within the assigned territory.
- Maintain scientific expertise in disease management, AstraZeneca products, emerging therapies, and competitive landscape.
- Contribute to the Field Medical Strategic Plan (FMSP) and act as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate scientific events such as MSL events, advisory boards, symposiums, and expert panels.
- Deliver scientific presentations and peer-to-peer education for HCPs and stakeholders.
- Identify gaps in patient care and provide actionable insights to internal teams for strategic planning.

- Ensure adherence to GCP, pharmacovigilance, GxP principles, and AstraZeneca Global Field Medical Standards.

Educational Qualification
- Doctoral degree (Pharm D) in a scientific discipline.
