About the Role:
The Manager, Medical Information is a vital member of the Medical Affairs team, responsible for overseeing internal and external communications related to Azurity’s products. This includes managing unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare providers (HCPs) and external stakeholders, contributing to scientific reports, and providing clinical insights across departments. The role demands strong expertise in Azurity’s therapeutic areas and the ability to maintain high standards in scientific accuracy and responsiveness.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Health Sciences (e.g., PharmD, PhD) with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Sciences (e.g., RN, RPh, PA, NP) will also be considered.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Information.
- Postdoctoral training or fellowship in Medical/Drug Information or relevant clinical practice experience is preferred.
Principal Responsibilities for Medical Affairs Job Role:
- Provide clinical and technical product knowledge to address inquiries from external and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and scientifically sound responses to unsolicited medical information requests from HCPs, payers, and managed healthcare organizations.
- Support and guide the Medical Information Call Center, handling escalated cases and ensuring exceptional customer service through training and mentorship.
- Develop and maintain a product knowledge database, including standard response letters (SRLs) and FAQs backed by the latest scientific evidence.
- Analyze reports and data to identify knowledge gaps and emerging trends.
- Build collaborative partnerships with internal teams, including Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Proactively update medical information resources with new and relevant data.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs to deliver topic-specific presentations and close knowledge gaps.
- Support the Promotional Material Review Committee (PMRC) and Scientific Review Committee (SRC) to ensure information accuracy and scientific balance.
- Coordinate and review legal contracts related to Medical Affairs activities.
- Perform other related responsibilities to support Medical Information functions.
