Intake Associate PV Role: Key Responsibilities
- Manage the collection, documentation and processing of local Adverse Event (AE) reports from different sources.
- Process safety information according to national legislation and Baxter procedures.
- Perform surveillance activities to identify new potential safety information.
- Escalate relevant safety information according to established procedures.
- Conduct local case triage, including case validity assessment and duplicate checks.
- Forward cases to appropriate internal and external partners when required.
- Perform case intake within the Pharmacovigilance Safety System (PSS).
- Respond to queries received from the global case processing team.
- Perform source-document redaction when necessary.
- Ensure relevant source documentation is appropriately captured within PSS.
- Conduct local quality checks as required.
- Perform Health Authority case downloads where applicable.
- Support other pharmacovigilance activities as assigned.
Baxter Pharmacovigilance Job Eligibility Criteria
- Degree in Pharmacy, Sciences or a related field for the Intake Associate PV role; OR
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacovigilance experience.
- Candidates should possess medical and clinical knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail is required.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities are required.
- Candidates should be comfortable working under strict deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities is important.
- Candidates should be able to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to develop proficiency in working with the Pharmacovigilance Safety System (PSS) is required.
