Job Description
This Medical Science Liaison Job at Bayer Career involves building scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, thought leaders, and key decision-makers through digital engagement. The Digital MSL will communicate scientific information, support clinical research activities, gather medical insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen medical education and evidence-based decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scientific relationships with thought leaders and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct virtual scientific meetings and remote medical engagements.
- Share scientific and medical information on Bayer products.
- Gather medical insights and communicate them to internal stakeholders.
- Support advisory boards, CMEs, and educational programs.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, MSLs, KAMs, and Clinical Operations.
- Support clinical trial feasibility, initiation, and data collection.
- Handle medical information queries following compliance procedures.
- Prepare interaction reports and track engagement activities.
- Identify scientific and educational needs through digital channels.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or Natural Sciences.
- Preferred: MD, MDS, PharmD, PhD, or other advanced science degree.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience as an MSL, Medical Affairs professional, Clinical Research professional, Drug Information specialist, or related pharmaceutical role.
- Experience in Cardiovascular and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in Type 2 Diabetes is preferred.
