Biocon Pharmacovigilance Job Description

The Drug Safety Specialist will be responsible for:

• Supporting the signal management process for assigned products and evaluating safety data as part of ongoing pharmacovigilance activities.
• Preparing and maintaining Risk Management Plans (RMP) and Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS).
• Responding to safety questions from regulatory authorities in collaboration with service providers and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborating with aggregate report vendors, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Leading initiatives for process improvement regarding aggregate reporting and risk management.
• Reviewing and providing inputs to safety sections of relevant documents.
• Participating in pharmacovigilance audit preparations and CAPA management.
• Mentoring junior Drug Safety Specialists and ensuring compliance with safety data exchange agreements.
