Associate Role at Colgate-Palmolive – Job Description
The Associate, Regulatory Affairs, will manage and maintain product compliance throughout the product life cycle. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, legal, marketing, and regulatory departments, to develop and review ingredient lists. The position also supports regional and global regulatory strategies while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards.

Associate Role at Colgate-Palmolive – Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review accurate ingredient lists in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Support new product registrations, renewals, variations, and license applications.
  • Compile documents for high-quality submissions, renewals, and dossier maintenance.
  • Track outstanding documentation and open queries with regulatory authorities.
  • Update product registration databases and archives.
  • Assist with regulatory SOP preparation and artwork approval.
  • Monitor regulatory guidelines, standards, and databases to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Support regional teams in regulatory assessments and product advocacy.

Associate Role at Colgate-Palmolive – Educational Qualifications

BS degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (Advanced degree preferred).

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in regulatory affairs, quality, or product development in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the African, Eurasian, and Asia Pacific regions.
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Suite, eCTD software, MS Office, SAP, and regulatory databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning ability.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
