Experience:
3-4 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing with at least 2 years in formulation production.
Senior Officer – Job Purpose
To monitor and execute production activities during shifts by adhering to cGMP and safety norms, ensuring smooth operations, and achieving production targets.
Senior Officer – Key Responsibilities
- Execute production activities during assigned shifts by managing resources effectively to achieve targets.
- Ensure optimum usage of consumables and improve efficiency by reducing equipment downtime.
- Maintain standard process parameters in accordance with BMRs and cGMP requirements.
- Perform validation, qualification, and calibration as per schedules and update documentation on CipDox.
- Ensure safety systems are followed, PPE is utilized, and all operations comply with safety norms.
- Prepare and maintain manufacturing records, online documentation, and ensure zero documentation errors.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, engineering, utilities, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
- Support technology transfer, troubleshooting, and new product introduction activities.
- Drive efficiency improvements, compliance, and zero-accident initiatives in manufacturing areas.
Major Challenges
- Meeting shift targets with limited resources – addressed by workload optimization.
- Ensuring effective knowledge transfer between shifts.
- Maintaining compliance during system downtime with engineering support.
