Job Description
This pharma fresher job involves operating and maintaining packing machines to achieve quality production targets while ensuring compliance with cGMP and safety guidelines. As part of a Cipla career, the selected candidate will perform machine setup, in-process checks, documentation, equipment cleaning, changeovers, and packing operations while maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare packing machines according to the production plan
- Perform equipment cleaning, calibration, and setup as per SOPs
- Operate packing machines and carry out product changeovers
- Conduct in-process quality checks during packing operations
- Perform labelling and rejection control activities
- Maintain machine logs and production documentation
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures
- Perform line clearance and maintain housekeeping standards
- Report near-miss incidents and support safe machine operations
- Train workmen on equipment operation, CGMP, and safety practices
- Assist in troubleshooting packing equipment and reducing downtime
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Diploma in Pharmacy
- Experience: 0–2 years in packing operations or related pharmaceutical manufacturing
Required Skills
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical packing operations
- Understanding of cGMP and SOP compliance
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS)
- Machine operation and changeover skills
