Clinical Trial Manager Job Description
This Clinical Trial Manager job involves managing all clinical operational and quality aspects of allocated studies of low to moderate complexity in compliance with ICH GCP. Responsibilities include developing clinical tools such as monitoring plans and guidelines, ensuring the quality of the Trial Master File, preparing and monitoring clinical activity timelines, reviewing monitoring visit reports, and managing CRF collection and query resolution. The role also involves communication with study sites, coordinating start-up activities, and managing clinical resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all clinical operational and quality aspects of allocated studies.
- Develop clinical tools such as monitoring plans and guidelines.
- Ensure the set-up and quality of the Trial Master File.
- Prepare and monitor clinical activity timelines and metrics.
- Review monitoring visit reports and manage CRF collection and query resolution.
- Communicate with study sites and coordinate start-up activities.
- Handle ethics committee and regulatory submissions.
- Manage clinical resources and support forecast estimates.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- 2+ years of experience with more than 1 year in a Clinical Trial Manager role.
- Hands-on experience in onsite monitoring and managing clinical trials.
