Cochin Shipyard Pharmacy Internship Eligibility Criteria
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in the relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
Selection Procedure
A. CSL will shortlist candidates for the Cochin Shipyard pharmacy internship based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trades. In case, the same percentage of marks is secured by more than one candidate, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in age.
B. Shortlisted candidates shall be issued an offer of Internship Training through the PMIS portal and will have to appear for verification of the following certificates as per the date mentioned in the offer letter:
- Original certificates towards proof of age, qualification, caste, disability (if any), etc.
- Self-attested copies of all certificates mentioned above.
C. On successful completion of certificate verification to ascertain eligibility requirements, the candidates shall be provisionally inducted for internship training, subject to medical fitness.
Travel Expenses
Additionally, CSL does not reimburse travel expenses for attending certificate verification or during the apprenticeship training period.
Boarding / Lodging
However, CSL will not provide boarding or lodging during the Internship period.

General Information
- Applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements by checking the scheme details at the PMIS Portal.
- CSL reserves the right to call for any additional documentary evidence from applicants in support of educational qualification/experience/other notified eligibility requirements as indicated in their online application.
- Any queries regarding the functionality of the PMIS portal should be directed through the PMIS portal’s Support section.
- Original certificates of the shortlisted candidates shall be verified at the time of joining or at any other stage as decided by CSL.
- Candidature is purely provisional subject to verification of original certificates in proof of age, qualification, caste, disability, medical fitness, etc.
- Selection of candidates will be subject to verification of character and antecedents and verification of caste certificates if applicable.
- Upon completion of the Internship period, CSL shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices.
- CSL reserves the right not to fill up the seats notified, and the filling up of the notified seats shall be subject to the suitability of candidates and availability of training facilities.
