Position 1: Project Associate-II (PAT-II)

- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. / M. Pharm in Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry with 2 years’ experience in organic synthesis.
- Desirable Qualification (Key Responsibilities/Skills): Industry experience will be an added advantage.
Position 2: Project Associate-I (PAT-I)

- Name of the Project: Scaling up the multi-fume technology integrated with a sequential fumigation process and eco-friendly fumigants for safe storage of food commodities against insect pest infestations

- Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.Sc. / M. Pharm. / MS Pharm.) in Biology / Biological Sciences / Life Sciences / Pharmacology with Two years of Research Experience.
- Desirable Qualification (Key Responsibilities/Skills): Research Experience in Cell Biology handling cell lines or Molecular Biology techniques including cloning, protein expression, purification, western blotting or experience in performing in-vivo studies using different animal models.
Position 4: Project Associate-I (PAT-I)

- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. with minimum 60 % in chemistry/ polymer chemistry/ nano science/ pharmacy.
- Desirable Qualification (Key Responsibilities/Skills): Experience in Nanomaterial and polymer synthesis in the laboratory.

Eligibility Criteria
- Only those candidates who have acquired the Essential Qualification & result has been declared (should have at least a provisional certificate) are eligible to appear in the Walk-In-Interview.
- Result awaited/ Final semester appeared candidates are NOT ELIGIBLE to appear in the Walk-In-Interview for the position where such minimum Essential Qualification requirement is mandatory.
Important Instructions for Walk-In Interview

Registration Time: Candidates should register their names between 08:30 AM to 09:30 AM on the respective dates. Candidates reporting after 09:30 AM will not be allowed for registration.

What to Bring: Duly filled application form (downloaded from CSIR-IICT Website) along with one set of attested relevant documents (certificates of all educational qualifications from matric/10th onwards, valid NET/GATE, Experience, DOB, latest Category/Caste certificates) and all original certificates for verification.
Note
- Age relaxation as per government norms.
- Candidates who have already served CSIR-IICT or any other lab/institute of CSIR for a total period of 6 years or more are not eligible for these engagements.
- CSIR-IICT reserves the right to cancel the award in case of any discrepancy found in the candidature at any stage.
- The selection will be on the basis of interview & skill test, if applicable.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
