DRILS Project Research Scientist Job Description
Applications are invited for the DRILS Project Research Scientist-II Job, a Project Research Scientist-II (Non-medical) position for an ICMR-funded project entitled, “Investigating MicroRNA-Based Therapeutic Strategies in Idiopathic Acquired Aplastic Anemia Using a Patient-Derived 3D Bone Marrow Niche Organoid Platform” at Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute experiments under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Coordinate and conduct overall project activities, including data analysis, protocol optimization, and documentation with the research team.
- Maintain accurate and properly cataloged laboratory records.
- Demonstrate high motivation, commitment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences; OR
- First-Class Post-Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (including integrated PG degrees) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in stem cell culture/mammalian cell culture/molecular biology/miRNA isolation and transfection/western blotting/FACS/microscopy imaging techniques.
- Knowledge of basic bioinformatics analysis is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in handling patient-derived stem cells and cell lines is encouraged.
