Job Description
The Drug Safety Associate will be responsible for various tasks related to the intake and quality review of case data in the database. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in Pharmacovigilance. The associate will perform medical coding for events and diseases, communicate medical queries to the Medical Advisor, and process related inquiries to the Team Lead. Additionally, the role involves identifying and escalating potential issues, providing regular status reports, and participating in team meetings and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Case intake, data entry, and quality review of information received.
- Refer to Data Entry Conventions for data entry queries.
- Perform medical coding for the Event and Disease tabs.
- Communicate medical queries to the Medical Advisor.
- Identify and communicate issues to the Team Lead promptly.
- Provide regular status reports on work completion.
- Participate in team meetings and client interactions as required.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Team Lead in a timely manner.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Relevant
- Minimum of two years of experience in Pharmacovigilance.
- Preferred experience in ARISg, LSMV, and NavaX databases.
