Job Overview
Macleods Pharmaceuticals is hiring freshers for Production roles. Selected candidates will
undergo a 3-month paid internship at the Macleods Centre of Excellence, Indore, followed
by potential placement as Production Trainees at Macleods manufacturing plants based on
performance and business requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on pharmaceutical
manufacturing experience in a GMP-compliant environment.
Internship Duration: 3 Months
Training Location: Macleods Centre of Excellence, Indore (MP)
Post-Internship Placement Locations (Based on Performance & Vacancies):
- Sikkim
- Baddi (Himachal Pradesh)
- Sarigam (Gujarat)
- Indore (Madhya Pradesh)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day pharmaceutical manufacturing operations (Oral Solids / Injectables / Other Formulations).
- Operate, monitor, and support production equipment under supervision.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety guidelines.
- Maintain production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and documentation.
- Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities when required.
- Participate in training programs to understand production processes, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure cleanliness, discipline, and adherence to plant safety norms.
- Work collaboratively with senior production and QA teams.
- Selected candidates will be offered 3 months of internship; candidates will transition
to trainee roles with opportunities for permanent placement.
Eligibility Criteria (Freshers Only)
Candidates must have completed one of the following qualifications:
- ITI: Fitter, Electrical
- Diploma: Electrical, Mechanical
- Science: B.Sc (Physics / Chemistry), M.Sc (Chemistry)
- Pharmacy: D.Pharm, B.Pharm
- Post-Graduation: M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics / Quality Assurance)
- No prior experience required
- Candidates must be willing to work in shifts and relocate if required
