The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) has released Advertisement No. TMC/AD/70/2026 inviting applications for multiple Medical and Non-Medical posts, including the Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Radiodiagnosis) position. Candidates possessing a B Pharmacy degree along with the prescribed Medical Imaging qualification can apply for this permanent Central Government opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures.
- Operate radiological imaging equipment.
- Assist radiologists during diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
- Maintain imaging records and equipment.
- Follow hospital SOPs and radiation safety guidelines.
Qualification
Candidates should possess either:
- B Pharmacy with 50% marks
- Experience Required
- Minimum one-year Internship or experience from a large hospital.
- Experience in CT and MRI is essential.

- Level 6 [Pre-revised PB-2, Rs.9300-34800 + 4200 GP]
- Level of Pay in Pay Matrix: Rs.35,400/- Level 6, Cell 1 + Allowances applicable
General Conditions
- Academic designations such as Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor for Medical posts will be assigned based on teaching experience as per NMC norms.
