- Period of Appointment: The appointment will be on a temporary basis for 11 months, starting as soon as possible and extendable for another 3 years based on performance and availability of funding.

Job Description
The Project Research Scientist-I, an IIT Hyderabad Research Scientist, will be responsible for conducting experiments related to cancer cell culture techniques, glioma mouse models, mass spectrometry-based metabolomics/proteomics, circadian time-course experiments, and liposome-based nanotechnology. Additional responsibilities include documentation of project paperwork, communication with collaborators, data analysis, presentation of work, and manuscript writing. The candidate may also be assigned other tasks related to the project by the Principal Investigator (PI).
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D or equivalent degree in life science and related areas, or
- First Class Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) in life science and related areas with 2 years of research experience after M.Sc/M.Pharm/M.Tech.
Required Skills
- Prior research experience (Ph.D./post-doc) in mass spectrometry (MS)-based metabolomics/proteomics, and big-data analysis using programming languages (R/Python/Java).
- Experience in mouse models of cancers (specifically orthotopic glioma models).
- Experience in liposome-based nanotechnology for targeted cancer therapy.
- First author original research publications (two or more in Scopus-indexed Q1/Q2 journals) in fields related to cancer biology/mass spectrometry/circadian biology.
Age Limit
Not more than 35 years as on the last day of application; relaxations for SC/ST/OBC as per standard government norms.
