Job Description
The Indian Air Force has announced a Pharmacist Job opportunity under the Medical Assistant Group ‘Y’ Recruitment 2026. Eligible pharmacy graduates and diploma holders will be selected through an online examination, physical fitness test, adaptability tests, and medical examination.

Marital Status and Date of Birth Block:
- For candidates with 10+2: Candidate should be unmarried and born between 01 July 2006 and 01 July 2010.
- For candidates with Diploma/B. Pharma/B.Sc in Pharmacy: Unmarried candidate should be born between 01 July 2003 and 01 July 2008. Married candidate should be born between 01 July 2003 and 01 July 2006.
- If a candidate clears all stages of the Selection Procedure, the upper age limit on the date of enrolment should be 21 years for candidates with 10+2 and 24 Years for those with Diploma/B. Pharma/B.Sc in Pharmacy.

Educational Qualification
- Candidate should have passed 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and in English.
- Or should have passed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- Or should have passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination with Diploma/B. Pharma/B.Sc in Pharmacy with valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or PCI at the time of enrolment.
Mandatory Medical Standards
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Chest: Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion.
- Hearing: Normal hearing as defined.
- Dental: Healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
- General Health: Fit for the Air Force with normal anatomy and no medical impediments.
