Job Description

This packaging development role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai for Packaging & Device Development Professionals with 1 to 10 years of experience in R&D. The role involves developing and optimizing packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working on packaging design and materials selection.
  • Conducting stability and compatibility studies.
  • Collaborating with R&D, production, quality assurance, and procurement teams.
  • Managing packaging-related documentation and supporting validation activities.
  • Contributing to cost-effective and sustainable packaging initiatives.
  • Coordinating with vendors and tracking project timelines.
  • Providing technical support during audits and inspections.
  • BOM preparation, Packaging Materials specifications, RLD/Innovator pack analysis

Eligibility Criteria

  • Degree in Packaging Technology, Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • 1 to 10 years of experience in R&D (Packaging & Device Development).

Required Skills

  • Strong skills in Packaging Engineering and Packaging Design for pharmaceutical and related products.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Packaging, including material selection, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Capability in Research and Development (R&D) to support innovation, testing, and continuous improvement in packaging.
  • Familiarity with GMP, regulatory guidelines, and documentation practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives, cost optimization, and vendor management in packaging is an advantage.
