JIPMER Research Associate III Job Description
The JIPMER Research Associate III will be responsible for developing and registering technical protocols for systematic reviews and meta-analyses, conducting systematic reviews on topics determined by the Technical Resource Centre (TRC), and writing manuscripts for evidence synthesis projects. The role also involves organizing training programs and workshops, attending meetings, and managing the daily activities of the TRC.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and register technical protocols for conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Conduct systematic reviews and meta-analyses on designated topics
- Write manuscripts for evidence synthesis projects
- Plan and organize training programs and workshops on systematic review and evidence synthesis
- Attend meetings, trainings, and webinars as directed by the Principal Investigator
- Prepare reports on TRC activities
- Manage day-to-day operations and record-keeping of the TRC
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Principal Investigator or Co-Principal Investigator
JIPMER Research Associate III Eligibility Criteria
Essential: Postgraduate degree in Public Health (MPH), M.Pharm, M.Sc. Epidemiology, or M.Sc. Health Economics with 3 years of research/academic experience, or MD/MS/MDS/Ph.D. in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, or Health Sciences.
Desirable:
- Publications in Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis as first or corresponding author in peer-reviewed journals
- Previous training/work experience in systematic reviews and meta-analysis
- Experience in organizing workshops
- Expertise in data analysis using R programming, STATA, or Python
