Job Description
In this Johnson & Johnson Scientist role, the Clinical Pharmacology (CP) PK Scientist collaborates with the Clinical Pharmacology Leader to execute Phase 1 studies end to end. Consequently, the scientist contributes to protocol development, pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic data analyses, and the necessary documentation for Clinical Study Reports (CSR).
Key Responsibilities
- Author and coordinate the development of Phase 1 clinical pharmacology trial protocols.
- Provide quality control review of protocols written by others.
- Review non-compartmental analysis (NCA) trial-specific data transfer agreements.
- Create the Clinical Pharmacology Analysis Plan based on the protocol.
- Perform NCA for trials in all phases of drug development.
- Develop and facilitate the review of CP sections of CSR for trials.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with other departments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Johnson & Johnson Scientist Job Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably with a science background, along with up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Applicants should have basic knowledge of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and statistical principles. Additionally, the employer prefers hands-on experience with Phoenix WinNonlin and R. Candidates with a general understanding of drug development and pharmaceutical R&D processes may have an advantage.
Required Skills
