Job Description
In this Labcorp Sample Handling Assistant role, the selected candidate is responsible for registering information received through laboratory requisition forms and supporting the accurate processing of clinical data. The selected candidate will perform accessioning, create and distribute batches, verify incoming volumes, maintain audit trails, and communicate with relevant stakeholders. Accuracy and timely completion of work are essential as these activities support downstream laboratory operations.
Labcorp Sample Handling Assistant Responsibilities
- Enter patient demographic information and administrative details from requisition forms.
- Complete first- and second-level accessioning entries accurately and on time.
- Process different batches according to their priority and specified turnaround time.
- Learn the accessioning and data-entry process under a trainer’s supervision and perform accessioning activities independently after completing the required training.
- Review and clean CPP reports; check and clear AD Pending records.
- Create batches through ImageNow and export the information to Microsoft Excel.
- Distribute batches across the team for effective workload management.
- Follow up with internal stakeholders through email and ensure all received batches are processed within the required timelines.
Eligibility Criteria
