Manipal Research Scientist Job Description
In this Manipal Research Scientist Job, the selected candidate will be involved in the development of a colorimetric, quantitative, and portable liquid crystal biosensor for point-of-care detection of vitamin D. The candidate will be responsible for conducting research, formulating and developing laboratory protocols, and managing project-related tasks under the guidance of the Principal Investigator.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development activities related to the project.
- Formulate and develop laboratory protocols.
- Handle animal models as required for the research.
- Communicate findings effectively through reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to project discussions.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.
- Assist in the preparation of research publications.
- Participate in project reviews and evaluations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential: M.Pharm/MSc with specialization in Pharmaceutics/Industrial Pharmacy/Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Chemistry with first class/second class.
- Desirable: Laboratory formulation and development skills, animal handling skills, and good oral & written communication abilities. Previous research experience is a plus.
