Merck Analyst Job Description
The Merck Analyst Job supports activities related to Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) and New Product Introduction (NPI). The role requires effective coordination with multiple cross-functional teams and the use of enterprise systems for maintaining accurate product, master, and web data. Candidates with knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, master data management, Office 365, controlled document management, and scientific processes may find this opportunity particularly relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a primary interface with operational organizations, including Manufacturing, Purchasing, Technical Services, and Quality Assurance.
- Supporting Product Life Cycle Management and New Product Introduction activities.
- Managing SAP and web data maintenance using relevant business tools.
- Reviewing NPDI completeness and ensuring master data accuracy and consistency.
- Supporting master data management, including data review, cleansing, enrichment, and consistency checks.
- Reviewing web data compilation and troubleshooting product webpage data issues.
- Uploading product-related documents, including technical bulletins and product information.
- Assisting with ISO audits and training activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences from a reputed university.
- Specialization in one of the following areas: Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology.
- 1–3 years of experience in the scientific industry.
Required Skills
- Strong scientific knowledge in Life Sciences.
- Product Lifecycle Management and business operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of SAP navigation and relevant transaction codes.
- Experience with master data management and controlled document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving capabilities.
