- Position: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) and Project Technical Support-III
- Category: All two posts – UR (Unreserved)
- Nature of Post: Initial appointment will be for 1 year. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Emoluments:
- Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) – Rs. 56,000.00 + 10% HRA (Posted at NIPER-Hajipur and ICMR-NIRT, Chennai as per project requirements)
- Project Technical Support-III – Rs. 28,000.00 + 10% HRA (Posted at ICMR-NIRT, Chennai)
Age Limit:
- Project Research Scientist I: 35 years on the date of application.
- Project Technical Support-III: 30 years on the date of application (with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt. norms).
NIPER Hajipur Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification:
- Project Research Scientist – I (Non-Medical): Essential qualifications: The candidate must have a postgraduate degree in Pharmacy/Life sciences/Biotechnology. Desirable experience includes a PhD thesis submitted in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or an equivalent discipline. Preference will be given to candidates having at least 1 year of research experience in protein isolation from mammalian/bacterial samples, LC-MS-based omics studies, and characterization.
- Project Technical Support-III: Essential qualifications: 12th in science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + five years of experience in a medical/research laboratory. Alternatively, a three-year graduate degree in the Life sciences field + two years of experience in a medical/research laboratory, or a postgraduate (PG) degree in Life sciences without professional experience. Desirable experience includes experience in in vitro anti-TB assays, cell culture handling, and in vivo animal experiments, preferably with knowledge of handling Mycobacterium tuberculosis cultures.
