NIPER Postdoctoral Fellow Job Description
Under this NIPER recruitment, the Postdoctoral Fellow will work on a project titled “The fight against HIV/AIDS: Comprehensive in silico strategies for discovery of novel allosteric PROTACs against HIV-1 integrase.” This position is temporary and funded by the Mary Heersink Institute for Global Health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, under the supervision of Dr. M. Elizabeth Sobhia, Professor, Department of Pharmacoinformatics, NIPER-SAS Nagar.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on PROTAC design and molecular dynamics simulations.
- Utilize advanced CADD techniques in drug discovery workflows.
- Analyze simulation results and apply AI/ML/DL methodologies.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Collaborate with team members on project objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Pharmacoinformatics, Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics, Medicinal Chemistry, Biophysics, Computational Biology, Protein Crystallography, or Structural Biology.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis in the relevant fields are also eligible to apply.
- Expertise in computational PROTAC design and molecular dynamics simulations is essential.
- Prior peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields are desirable.
