Job Description
- Support the Chemical Development Lead in route scouting and chemical process development for Bayer’s crop protection products
- Collaborate with internal and external functional teams on research activities
- Perform laboratory experiments following strict safety standards
- Maintain accurate experimental data documentation in the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)
- Apply knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry in process development projects
- Design and execute high-quality experiments independently and within teams
- Work in interdisciplinary and cross-divisional Crop Protection Innovation teams
Key Responsibilities
Qualification
- M.Pharm in Organic Chemistry with 0–3 years of laboratory experience
- Experience in designing and performing experiments to meet project timelines
- Knowledge of modern synthetic methodologies and organic reaction mechanisms
- Understanding of retrosynthesis and synthetic organic chemistry
- Strong knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic analysis techniques
- Experience with NMR and Mass Spectroscopy for structure elucidation
- Motivated to achieve ambitious goals and deliver results efficiently
- Strong willingness to learn, develop new skills, and share knowledge
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional internal and external teams
- Open to feedback and continuous professional growth
