Job Description
Apotex is hiring a Junior Chemist – Production Operations for its Bangalore facility. This Pharma Freshers Job is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start their career in pharmaceutical manufacturing. As a Chemist Job, the role involves supporting production operations, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), carrying out cleaning activities, maintaining documentation, ensuring safety compliance, and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company policies, Code of Conduct, and safety regulations
- Work as part of a team to achieve production goals
- Perform production and cleaning activities as per SOPs (BPCR & GCRs)
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Carry out daily tasks based on instructions from the reporting officer
- Perform SAP transactions as per work guidelines
- Stage raw materials and packing materials in designated areas
- Report and record any deviations during work activities
- Maintain plant hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Coordinate with the engineering team for breakdowns and maintenance support
- Ensure safe disposal of waste as per EHS guidelines
- Participate in training programs (GMP, safety, unit operations)
- Report any abnormalities in safety, GMP, or operations to supervisors
- Perform any other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Pharmacy.
- Experience: Fresher
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Self-motivational skills allow you to function independently.
- Communication style and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in an APIPL environment.
- Excellent Teamwork and Experience.
