Job Description
- Skills in ISIS Draw / Marvin JS
- Knowledge of Patent Analysis
- Strong Internet research skills
- Understanding of Chemical Compound Nomenclature
- Knowledge about drugs and their human use
- Coding and indexing chemical compounds from patents
- Following Derwent Innovation Product policies and conventions
- Staying updated with Pharma and Chemistry developments
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property concepts
- Exposure to Data Analysis and technical skills
Key Responsibilities
- Coding and Indexing Chemical compounds present in patents in line with Derwent Innovation Product policies and conventions.
- Play an active role in the team and maintain awareness of current trends and new developments in the Pharma / Chemistry areas.
- Upskilling in Pharma / Chemistry / Intellectual Property, Data Analysis, and other technical skills.
Qualifications
- Must be a B. Pharm / M. Pharm / M.Sc Chemistry graduate.
- Can be fresher or a candidate with 1 to 2 years of experience in Chemistry or Pharma-based content editing (Not related to Research & Development).
Preferred Skills
- Elementary proficiency in one or more foreign languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish, etc).
- Experience in Patent analysis, Chemical structure drawing, Markush, IUPAC nomenclature, complex chemical reactions, and knowledge about drugs and its human use.
- Skills in Content writing, analysis, and computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
