Job Description
The company is hiring for the position of Sr Officer – Quality Assurance to ensure effective in-process quality assurance (IPQA) during manufacturing and packing activities in compliance with cGMP and USFDA requirements. This Quality Assurance Job is suitable for freshers and experienced candidates looking to establish their careers in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform line clearance before the start/changeover of the batch
- Monitor manufacturing processes: dispensing, granulation, compression, coating, packing
- Verify adherence to BMR/BPR instructions on the shop floor
- Conduct in‑process checks (IPQC): weight variation, hardness, friability, etc.
- Ensure status labelling, cleanliness, and material identification
- Check real-time documentation (GDP compliance)
- Report deviations/abnormalities observed during operations
- Ensure use of approved materials, equipment, and SOPs
- Coordinate with production for smooth and compliant execution
Qualification & Experience
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- 0–3 years of experience in IPQA (OSD preferred)
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of cGMP guidelines is preferred.
- Good observation & attention to detail
- Ability to work on the shop floor & in shifts
